Painting in the Park
A blanket in the park, canvases and paint, with enough time to talk while everyone made something of their own.
A women's circle in Lisbon · Since September 2026
Small creative gatherings for women in Lisbon. Painting, yoga, candles, journaling, and a lot of good conversation. You don't need experience and you don't need to know anyone.

Making friends stopped being automatic somewhere around the time everyone got busy. Maybe you moved here and the people who know you best are asleep by the time your evening starts. Maybe you've been here for years and watched your people leave one by one. Or maybe nothing happened at all, and you just noticed one Tuesday that you hadn't had a real conversation in a month.
So we started ROUND. A small group, something to do with your hands, and enough time to actually talk. Most women come on their own, and that's the whole point.
The activity gets you in the door. The conversation is why you come back.
No circles on the calendar right now. Follow @roundlisbon to hear about the next one first.

Jardim Docas da Ponte
Gentle yoga by the river with @alinegarciab, a few quiet minutes of journaling and an iced drink to finish.
“I loved the whole vibe. Everyone was so warm, and the conversations just flowed. I came on my own and left with a few new friends.”
“The painting was lovely, but the company was my favourite part. We laughed, shared stories and stayed chatting longer than planned.”
“I didn't know anyone when I arrived, but I felt comfortable so quickly. Such a lovely group of women. I'm already looking forward to seeing them again.”
“One of those afternoons where you forget to check your phone. Good conversations, lovely people and such a relaxed atmosphere. I left feeling really happy.”
“I went for the painting and ended up making a friend. We've already made plans to come to the next one together.”
This isn't therapy, and none of us are qualified to pretend otherwise. It's a group of women who also want more connection in their lives. If you're carrying something heavy, please reach out to a professional.
It also isn't networking. If you leave with a new client, great, but that's not why anyone's there.
